According to Miah, a Skyline student who occasionally uses dry shampoo, “To some extent, depending on the brand of dry shampoo, they’re effective to absorb oil from your hair.” Dry shampoo merely absorbs oil from your hair to improve its appearance, without removing oils and particles.
Hair type affects how often people need to wash their hair. Thinner hair tends to become greasy easily and could be washed one to two days. On the other hand, individuals with thick and coarse hair only need to wash their hair every one to two weeks.
Environmental and physical conditions also impact the number of times people should wash their hair. In areas with a lot of pollution and dirt, individuals may need to wash their hair more frequently. Additionally, individuals who sweat often need to increase the number of times they wash their hair.
