The Spartan Forum, Skyline High School’s student newspaper, is successfully back up and running for year two as an ASB club. We owe our thanks to our club advisor, Ms. Bacon, who shares her motivation for creating the club: “With Journalism no longer offered as a class at Skyline as of 2024, this meant there would be no student newspaper. With so many curious and creative students, this was a great loss. This is why we did the paperwork to create the club and happily recruited lots of interested students, keeping the school newspaper alive. Students from all grades, with different interests and perspectives, contributed ideas and articles; it was a very successful first year.”
We also have many newspaper staff back to follow their passions as writers and investigators, including the Editor in Chief, Sneha Moudgalya. Her goal for the club this year is to “make sure all members know what they are doing and how they can participate,” and to “keep articles constant throughout the year.”
The newspaper staff thanks you for your support of The Spartan Forum and hopes you enjoy the variety of articles and consider joining our staff: we meet every Monday right after school in the Skyline Library.
