On May 4, 2026, arriving students were met with quite a spectacle: a massive googly eye on our Spartan head at the front of Skyline.
Magically appearing overnight, an eye placed so perfectly on the Spartan thirty feet up on the wall. There are rumors, but no real evidence for who did it or how.
The googly eye itself seems to be made of a thick poster board, lightweight but heavy enough so not to flap in the wind. Whoever made it certainly knew what they were doing.

Junior Preston Gazeley said, “I believe this is a reference to the book 1984, and it was most likely done by the Orwellian students at Skyline. It is definitely a reflection on the political and economic state of America, and with increasing surveillance in the digital age, it is an obvious call to action. Just kidding, I thought it was really funny!”
It’s harmless, unobtrusive, and in good humor. Aliens? Or a senior prank, perhaps?
